Abu Dhabi: The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), an Abu Dhabi-based government agency, through the UAE Research Program for Rain Enhancement Science (UAEREP), has conducted a research campaign in Colorado, US, to investigate the chances of using an autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to collect cloud microphysical measurements and give automatic cloud seeding decisions. Abu Dhabi: Pure Harvest Smart Farms, an Abu Dhabi-based agriculture technology start-up has secured another $64.5 million in additional funding, bringing its total invested capital to nearly $300 million. Washington: For the first time the history, scientists at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) have discovered signs of what could be a planet orbiting a star outside of the Milky Way galaxy. The alleged planet, discovered in a new expedition, is nearly the size of Saturn, which is roughly nine times the size of the Earth.
