Abu Dhabi: Dubai Airports has urged travelers to be at the airport no later than two hours before their scheduled departure and advised against traveling to the airport until their flight has been confirmed.
Additionally, until 23:59 GMT on April 19, Emirates has chosen to halt check-in for all of its network’s customers who are traveling through Dubai for subsequent connections. This is to aid in the operations’ recuperation at its Dubai hub following the recent poor weather.
Emirates stated in a statement that travelers who are currently in Dubai and transit will keep getting their flights processed. Customers can check in and continue their journey as normal if Dubai is their final destination.
Due to anticipated delays in departures and arrivals, Emirates recommended all of its customers check the most recent flight schedules on its website.
The airline acknowledged the present high phone volume and apologized for any delays in response. It encouraged affected passengers to contact their booking agent or Emirates Office for rebooking possibilities.
Flydubai has made changes to its itinerary for tomorrow, April 19, and more flights have been canceled. Before heading to the airport, passengers are encouraged to verify the status of their flight.

In a separate development, during the unfavorable weather circumstances that the UAE experienced from April 15 to 17, National Ambulance, a division of the National Guard Command, efficiently attended to 1,426 inquiries for assistance throughout the Northern Emirates.
A notable 91 percent increase in call traffic compared to typical days was reflected in the round-the-clock emergency medical care and hospital transportation given by the committed teams of National Ambulance.
