Sharjah: The Sharjah Real Estate Department has integrated ownership and usufruct deeds into the UAE Digital Identity (UAE Pass) app. This initiative makes it the first government entity in the emirate to offer such a service digitally.
The integration allows customers to access various property deeds—including ownership deeds, joint ownership deeds, usufruct deeds, and joint usufruct deeds—directly through their mobile devices using the UAE Pass app. This development aligns with the UAE government’s goals for digital transformation and improving customer service.
Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al-Shamsi, Director-General of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, emphasized the department’s commitment to facilitating a seamless customer experience. “Our goal is to enable customers to complete their transactions swiftly and effectively, in line with global best practices,” Al-Shamsi stated.
He further noted that this initiative supports the directives of Sharjah’s Executive Council and aligns with the ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision. This vision, endorsed by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, aims to set foundational strategies for future advancements leading up to the UAE Centennial 2071.
