Abu Dhabi: According to the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD), the Enviro-Spellathon app has recorded 6,100 downloads since August, 2022. The Enviro-Spellathon is an EAD-led annual activity which is held within Abu Dhabi schools. The program encourages eco-literacy on the local flora, fauna and create awareness about the local environmental issues among students across Abu Dhabi through a structured academic exercise. Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) has launched a new innovative application that encourages the adoption and mastery of the Arabic language. The ALC is part of the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi). Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has conducted a meeting with a number of recruitment agencies in the UAE to discuss the latest developments and ways to benefit from the Nafis platform. Abu Dhabi: A biometric effort at Abu Dhabi International Airport’s first phase is currently being implemented by NEXT50, an Abu Dhabi-based technology company. The project will initially see the deployment of next-generation biometric solutions at selected self-service baggage touchpoints, immigration e-gates, and boarding gates before implementing the technology across all passenger touchpoints in the airport.
