Dubai: The Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) has announced that it will be hosting Geo-Spatial Week 2025 (GSW 2025) in Dubai from April 6 to 11, 2025 with the theme “Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing for a Better Tomorrow.” This event is being organized in collaboration with the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS).
The goal of GSW 2025 is to convene the top specialists in photogrammetry, remote sensing, and spatial sciences for an occasion centered around discovery, cooperation, and motivation.
In addition to a scientific exhibition featuring the largest domestic and international companies in this field, the six-day event will include a series of workshops, plenary sessions, and oral presentations showcasing cutting-edge geospatial technologies intended to advance scientific development and contribute to a sustainable future for our planet.
Additionally, GSW 2025 provides a special forum for graduate students, experts in the field, scientists, and international students to get together and exchange knowledge about, improve, and broaden their expertise in using geospatial technology. In addition, it will facilitate beneficial communication and the sharing of ideas, creating a cooperative atmosphere that promotes the development and success of all participants.
The event also seeks to improve communication across different workshop groups both inside and outside of the ISPRS, which will raise the profile and influence of ISPRS events every year. It also presents a compelling chance for sustaining members to take part in ISPRS activities.
