Abu Dhabi: The General Secretariat of the Khalifa Award for Education has invited applications for the 17th edition of the award from individuals and organizations across the globe.
The General Secretariat of the Award is welcoming applications from candidates in various fields until January 12, 2024. Candidates can apply electronically through the award’s website, through sorting, evaluating, and judging the nominations carried out electronically by specialized scientific committees in each of the fields presented. The General Secretariat revealed the activities of the 17th session, the fields presented in it, the specific criteria for nomination for each field, and other mechanisms for electronic application of files.
The conference was attended by Mr. Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, Khalifa Award for Education Board of Trustees member, Dr. Souad Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Khalifa Award for Education, as well as Khalifa Award for Education Executive Committee members Dr. Khaled Al Abri, Dr. Jameela Khanji, and Mr. Hamid Ibrahim.
Dr. Al Suwaidi reviewed the time plan for the current session, where candidates’ applications are being received electronically through the website developed by the General Secretariat of the Award in accordance with the highest application standards for smart platforms.
In addition, the Board of Trustees member noted that the time plan also includes the start of screening candidates’ applications by the General Secretariat of the Award as a priority stage in the period from January 15–24, 2024.
Following the deadline for applications, the Executive Committee of the Award and the Sorting Committee for the field of the Khalifa International Award for Early Learning will undertake the screening stage of the nominated works from January 25, 2024, to February 7, 2024.
The process of judging and evaluating the work of the candidates will be carried out by specialized committees from February 8, 2024, until March 19, 2024. The results will be delivered to the office of the Secretary General of the Award from March 20 to 28, 2024, and a ceremony honoring the candidates will take place from the end of April to mid-May 2024.
