Dubai: Emirates has launched a series of programs aimed at developing top UAE national talent and boosting their careers within the Emirates and the Dnata Group of companies. This move demonstrates the airline’s strong commitment to its UAE national development strategy, known as Rehlaty.
The new initiative, called the UAE National Talent Acceleration Program, offers ambitious Emiratis with diverse academic backgrounds and at different career stages four unique opportunities for professional development.
The first opportunity is the Take Off Internship Program, which provides selected students from renowned global universities with internships lasting up to 12 months. Participants gain valuable professional experience, training, and mentoring while also building connections for future career development through an alumni network. Interns will have the chance to work on various assignments across the Emirates Group and receive regular performance evaluations and feedback sessions.
The International Bachelor Scholarship Program offers full academic scholarships to exceptional high school students in specific subjects at major universities in the UK and the US. Upon completion of the programme, graduates will receive a Bachelor’s degree and have access to career opportunities within the Emirates and the Dnata Group of companies worldwide.
The Fly High Graduate Program is a 36-month global management trainee programme designed for top local and global university graduates. Participants will receive on-the-job training and curated courses in aviation while working on a range of projects across the Emirates Group, including airline operations, commercial activities, and dnata.
Lastly, the Master Scholarship Program offers full-time scholarships to UAE National employees of the Emirates Group who are accepted into Masters Programmes at prestigious universities. This programme aligns with the Group’s long-standing emigration strategy and aims to support the consistent growth of UAE talent within the organisation.
The UAE Talent Acceleration Program is an expansion of the Emirates Group’s Emiratization strategy and aims to attract, develop, and retain talented UAE Nationals. The Group’s Emiratization team continuously reviews and introduces new initiatives, ranging from leadership programs and skills training to internal rotation opportunities, scholarships, and internships, to establish the Emirates Group as an employer of choice for UAE nationals.
