Dubai: The new Stadium Bus Station, which is situated in the Al Qusais Area next to the Stadium Metro Station and has a prime location with increasing demand for bus service, is set to open on May 3rd by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
This Bus Station is the optimal choice for commuters in the emirate because it is made to save travel times and offer smooth connections to other mass transit options. The new bus station will be the starting point for buses on routes 19, F22, F23A, F23, F23, F24, and W20. Route 23 will also travel through it.
To guarantee that travelers arrive at their destinations more quickly while traveling, the Public Transport Agency of the Roads and Transport Authority will implement certain enhancements to the express lines for the following lines: 62-X02-X23-X22-X13-X25-X92-X64-.X94, and changes will be made to the lines’ routes, such as shortening the X28 line’s run to terminate at Agora Mall.
The weekend service of Musaffah Bus Station will be added to the Inter-city bus line E102, which will also expedite travel times between Al Jaffiliya Station and Terminal A of Zayed International Airport.
The timetables for the following thirty routes will also be improved: 19, 23, 27, 43, 62, C04, C10, C15, C18, D03, E102, E307, E400, F08, F17, F22, F23, F23A, F24, F51, W20, X02, X13, X22, X23, X25, X28, X64, X92, X94. These enhancements will all become operative on May 3, 2024.
Route 91A will be closed on that day. From Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, commuters can take the alternate route 91 to Jebel Ali Port Zone.
The RTA is still dedicated to growing the public bus system and connecting it to other public transportation options, including as the metro, tram, and maritime services.
