Abu Dhabi: EDGE Group PJSC (EDGE), a global leader in advanced technology and defense, has revealed its acquisition of a complete ownership stake in Etimad Holding LLC (Etimad). Etimad is a prominent company specializing in technology solutions and services, particularly in the areas of security systems, systems integration, project fulfilment, and execution.
Their expertise spans various sectors, including border security, law enforcement, critical infrastructure, urban management, safe city initiatives, traffic management, and cybersecurity. This acquisition marks a significant development for EDGE Group as it expands its capabilities and offerings in the field of advanced technology solutions.
Through this acquisition, EDGE will enhance its extensive capabilities by establishing a new Homeland Security cluster and boosting its talented workforce to 12,000+ employees. Homeland security is a fast-growing sector, with great potential for synergies across EDGE’s current programs and capabilities. This will position EDGE as a leader in security solutions and diversify its offerings across various critical sectors.

Since its establishment, Etimad has delivered more than 2,000 major projects in the UAE, including critical infrastructure projects, border and coastal security, as well as the design and production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
