Abu Dhabi: The 16th group of wounded Palestinian children and cancer patients have arrived in the UAE in the implementation of the directives of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to provide medical treatment for 1,000 injured children and 1,000 cancer patients from the Gaza Strip at the UAE’s hospitals.
The aircraft, carrying 25 patients in urgent need of medical attention together with 51 family members, landed at Zayed International Airport after taking off from Al Arish International Airport in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Medical staff arrived on the scene and moved injured patients and those requiring emergency care quickly to hospitals, taking other patients and their partners to the Emirates Humanitarian City.
As a result of the country’s astute leadership’s directions, UAE hospitals offer the best possible care for cancer patients as well as injuries.
Families of the sick and injured sent their gratitude to the United Arab Emirates and its astute leadership for this admirable humanitarian endeavor, which establishes a singular example of sister-nation friendship and support.
They declared that in every situation, the United Arab Emirates has been the first to support the Palestinian people by lending a hand and offering relief. They also appreciated the work of the volunteer and medical teams who gave them complete support.
As part of the “Chivalrous Knight 3” humanitarian effort, the United Arab Emirates has hurried to deliver all kinds of humanitarian, relief, and aid materials to the fraternal Palestinian people since the crisis in the Gaza Strip began.
Towards that end, the UAE has also established a 150-bed field hospital in Gaza and the Floating Hospital in Al Arish port, equipped with 100 beds, operating rooms, intensive care units, radiology, laboratories, pharmacies, and medical warehouses.
