Abu Dhabi: The Department of Community Development (DCD) in Abu Dhabi has unveiled a new survey which is expected to identify the causes of domestic violence and patterns of abusive behavior. Sharjah: Astronomy Enthusiast in the UAE are set for a treat in 2022 as Mr. Ibrahim Al-Jarwan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Astronomy Society confirmed that the country will witness two lunar eclipses this year. The First Eclipse of the Year will coincide with the Sunrise of May 16th. Dubai: In line with its ambitions to boost environmental sustainability and encourage residents to reduce the excessive use of plastics, the Government of Dubai will impose a tariff of 25 fils on single-use bags used for carrying goods, beginning 1st July, 2022. Dubai: With the rise of Emirati Marriages in the UAE, Ms. Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development has updated that marriage grants worth $51,971,138.73 were provided to 2,727 young Emirati citizens in 2021, a rise of more than 11 percent compared to 2020 where $46,653,959.52 was disbursed to 2,448 people.
