Abu Dhabi: Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior has welcomed Wang Xiaohong, the State Counselor and Minister of Public Security of China, along with the accompanying group, in an official state visit to the country.
Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed conversed with his distinguished counterpart on a range of common subjects pertaining to the two nations’ current state of cooperation in every domain and strategies to improve these two-way ties, with a focus on security and law enforcement.
Later, the Chinese Minister of Public Security led a larger meeting with the visiting Chinese delegation, which the minister hosted on behalf of the Emirati side. In keeping with their ongoing strategic cooperation in all areas, the two nations launched a strategic police dialogue during the meeting with the goal of strengthening ties and expanding the sharing of best practices in law enforcement as well as experiences and knowledge in fighting organized crime, cybercrime, and cross-border crime.
Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the chief of staff of the Dubai Police, Major General Salem Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services, Brigadier Engineer Hussein Ahmed Al Harithi, Director General of Smart Services and Digital Security, Brigadier Dr. Faisal Sultan Al Shuaibi, Director General of Strategy and Performance Development, and several other Ministry officers represented the Emirati side.
Present from the Chinese side were Hu Da Peng, Director-General of the General Court of China, Xiu Da Tong, Deputy Minister of Public Security of China, Sun Guangyu, Deputy Secretary-General of the State Council of China, and Zhang Yiming, Chinese Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates. The Chinese Ministry of Public Security was represented by Hu Bin Chen, the Director-General of the Department of International Cooperation, Liu Zhongyi, the Director-General of the Department of Criminal Investigation, Tan Xue, the Director-General of the Department of Network Security, and a few other delegation members.
