Inaugurated by Ms. Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri, Minister of Climate Change and the Environment (MoCCAE), E-Vet Gate will be available through the Ministry’s Website and App. The E-Vet Gate Platform is expected to serve as a complete reference for safe and certified veterinary pharmaceutical products registered in the UAE. Abu Dhabi: National Food Loss and Waste Initiative – Ne’ma was recently unveiled in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. Abu Dhabi: In line with its ambitions to protect the bio-diversity in the region, the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MoCCAE) has imposed an annual ban on fishing and trading of sharks and rays from 1st March to 30th June, 2022. The Ministerial Resolution No. 43 of 2019 which regulates fishing and trading of sharks will allow fishermen who use widely accepted shark fishing gear and run registered lynch boats to fish sharks from 1st July of each year until the last day of February of the following year. Amman, Jordan: The UAE-based philanthropic organization Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has stepped up its humanitarian efforts and relief programs to curb the impact caused by severe cold and bad weather conditions on the lives of the affected and refugees in Jordan. The organization offered additional benefits to 120,000+ people in several Jordanian governorates.
