Muscat, Oman: Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has met Mr. Sayyid Badr Hamad al-Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, to discuss the the deep-rooted historic ties between the UAE and Oman, as part of his official visit to Oman.
The foreign ministers of UAE and Oman talked about enhancing cooperation across all fields, and exchanged views on the latest regional developments as well as on a number of local and international matters of mutual concern.
Sheikh Abdullah praised the significant outcomes of the visit of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Oman.
According to the UAE minister, the visit was intended to testify to the long-standing relations that two countries share, and their enthusiasm in developing cooperation on all fronts and enhance security, stability and growth in the region and the world.
In addition, Sheikh Abdullah emphasized that the ties between the UAE and Oman are continuing to grow stronger with the support of their leaderships, stressing their keenness to bolster their cooperation to achieve their mutual interests.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Mr. Mohammed Sultan Saif Al Suwaidi, UAE Ambassador to Oman.
