Abu Dhabi: Rabdan Academy and Monash University in Australia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to build a comprehensive framework for research and academic cooperation. The partnership is part of the Academy’s efforts to foster collaborations with the top 200 universities worldwide. The collaboration facilitates the exchange of educational materials, expertise, and experiences, contributing to the enhancement of the educational and research systems of both institutions globally.
Mr. Salem Saeed Al Saeedi, Vice President of Rabdan Academy, highlighted the significance of collaboration with Monash University, which aims to achieve globally leading educational results that benefit students, graduates, faculty members, and researchers.
Professor Sharon Pickering, Acting Provost and Senior Vice President at Monash University, commented that “Monash welcomes this new framework for cooperation with Rabdan Academy and the exciting potential it offers for collaboration.”

The partnership will lead to the implementation of joint global programs and projects, including the faculty exchange program as well as undergraduate and postgraduate student exchange programs. Furthermore, it will create other initiatives to enrich future skills, knowledge, and experiences in strategic areas at regional and global levels.
Rabdan Academy is actively expanding its partnerships locally and globally in line with its Vision 2025, aiming to become a leading educational, training, and research institution in safety, security, defense, emergency preparedness, and crisis management. In addition, the partnership will witness coordination activities between the two institutions through specialized work teams to implement joint initiatives, programs, and projects.
