Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) will showcase a range of new incentives at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2023. It aims to support the sustainable growth of national industries.
From October 2 to 5, 2023, MoIAT will be at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre for ADIPEC. As part of the “Make it in the Emirates” initiative, the ministry will organize the ‘Manufacturing and Industrialization Strategic Conference.’
It will gather big local and international industrial firms to boost growth possibilities using advanced technologies and 4IR solutions. It encourages eco-friendly practices to speed up the sector’s move towards low-carbon operations.
Additionally, there will be free ITTI assessments by the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) in collaboration with Maxbyte and Schneider Electric.
The ministry will also present the Green ICV as part of the National In-Country (ICV) Program, aiming to boost the competitiveness and sustainability of companies.
MoIAT’s involvement in ADIPEC 2023, the world’s largest energy exhibition, aligns with COP28. The ministry will support ADIPEC’s theme, ‘Decarbonising. Faster. Together.’, by advocating for advanced technology adoption and sustainability practices in the sector. This effort is in preparation for the UAE hosting the global climate conference.
ADIPEC 2023 is set to have 2,200 companies taking part, including 54 major local and international energy players and 30 pavilions. The focus of the event will be on global climate and energy challenges, with an emphasis on decarbonization to speed up the energy transition for sustainability.
The exhibition will feature 350 sessions with over 1,600 high-level speakers participating, aiming to mobilize various sectors and pave the way for a more sustainable future.
