Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council has approved the establishment of a specialized medical city dedicated to the health of women and children in Abu Dhabi. The infrastructure for the medical city will include Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) as a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for pediatric care, the Corniche Hospital dedicated to the health of women and newborns. Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Stem Cells Centre (ADSCC) has signed a joint research agreement with Kyoto University – Centre for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA) and Rege Nephro- a Japan-based biotech company that specializes in Research, Development and production of renal disease therapeutics. Sharjah: The Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) has convened a meeting at the Sharjah Ruler’s office, chaired by Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of SEC.
