Abu Dhabi: The 32nd “Birds of Goodness” airdrop operation has successfully delivered 87 tons of humanitarian aid and Eid apparel to northern Gaza.
Five aircraft took part in the airdrop: two C17s from the UAE Air Force, two C295s, and one C130 from the Egyptian Air Force.
The goods that were airdropped included unique Eid dress parcels for families as well as necessities like food. These packages included toys, clothing, candies, and other goods for the whole family. In addition to easing their suffering, the expedition sought to meet the needs of the Palestinian people in Gaza during Eid Al-Fitr.
The operation concentrated on remote, hard-to-reach places in northern Gaza. Since “Birds of Goodness” began, 2025 tonnes of food and humanitarian materials have been given out in total.
With this, the UAE has already transported over 2395 tons of relief to the northern Gaza region, using airdrops via “Birds of Goodness” as well as land shipments via the Kerem Shalom gate.
As a component of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,” the “Birds of Goodness” campaign aims to aid the Palestinian people residing in Gaza.
Previously, The 31st “Birds of Goodness” airdrop operation delivered 81 tonnes of humanitarian aid and Eid apparel to northern Gaza. The airdrop mission involved two C17 aircraft from the UAE Air Force and two C295 aircraft from the Egyptian Air Force.
