Dubai: The Union Coop, one of the largest consumer cooperatives in the UAE, has opened its new Community Residential Mall, consisting of its 26th hypermarket branch, 28 commercial stores, and 44 residential apartments in the Al Habiya area, covering an area of 493,977 square feet. With the opening of the new centre, the number of Union Coop hypermarkets in Dubai has now reached 26.
The latest project was inaugurated by Mr. Majid Hamad Rahma Al Shamsi, Chairman of Union Coop, and Eng. Abdulla Mohammad Rafie Al Dallal, Managing Director at Union Coop, along with division and department directors, managers, and employees of Union Coop.
Furthermore, the Union Coop released an inaugural promotion with discounts of up to 75 percent on a large selection of food and non-food products to delight the consumers. This 4-day promotion started on March 9 and runs until March 12, and it will help reduce the burden on consumers who are looking for essential products of international quality at competitive prices.

Arch. Madiya Al Mari, Director of the Investment Division, confirmed that the latest project in Motor City, containing a health club and multi-purpose hall, had a construction cost of about $27228260 and was located in Al Habiyah-1 (Motor City), a premium location along the commercial street.
According to Ms. Al Mari, the project includes 249 car parking spaces on the basement and ground floor, as well as 28 shops on the ground and first floors.
The signature Union Coop hypermarket is on the first floor, and the project includes 44 residential apartments, 22 on each floor. The apartments range from 1 BHK to 3 BHK and include amenities such as a swimming pool and a gaming area on the terrace.
Shops have been rented to businesses such as restaurants, cafes, salons, pharmacies, and perfume shops. Similarly, there are shops on the first floor near the showroom as well. The procedures for renting residential apartments that are distinguished by their size, design, and views of the main street, the swimming pool areas, and the children’s play area have been initiated.
