Abu Dhabi: Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities (MBZUH) has added the Sheikh Zayed Legacy of Peaceful Coexistence as a subject to its academic programs and courses. The move is part of MBZUH’s efforts to enhance its strategic vision to spread a culture of tolerance and human fraternity as well as to uphold the values of moderation and openness.
The new programs allow the Sheikh Zayed Legacy of Peaceful Coexistence to hold a significant place within the university programs by providing an opportunity to delve into the personality of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Through studying his historical positions on crucial issues in the Arab region and the world, the students will gain valuable insights into Sheikh Zayed’s vision and ideas, which have laid the foundations for the civilizational and human development of the emirates.
The Sheikh Zayed Legacy of Peaceful Coexistence further comprises all aspects of his journey, from his early years to the memorable moments that have been immortalized in history.
Sheikh Zayed’s immortal positions, both locally and internationally, have greatly contributed to dealing with the challenges faced by Arab and Islamic nations. The national leader’s global impact has established a strong foundation for UAE diplomacy.
By teaching this subject, the university’s aim is to introduce the new generations to the honorable history of the Al Nahyan family, the challenges faced during the establishment of the UAE, and the instrumental role played by the late Sheikh Zayed in overcoming these challenges.
