Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has received Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi in Abu Dhabi at the start of his official visit to the UAE. They had a discussion of the historical ties between the two countries and their people and praised the level of joint strategic cooperation between the two nations across multiple important sectors.
India and the UAE have strengthened bilateral relations through cultural exchange, trade, and political engagement. The two countries share deep roots in relations and cooperation. Their partnership drives economic growth and creates trade and investment opportunities for over 3.8 billion people.
The UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received Mr. Modi at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. Emirati children warmly welcomed the Indian Prime Minister’s motorcade with flags of both nations. The President personally greeted the Prime Minister, who was then accompanied during an official reception ceremony featuring a guard of honour, a 21-gun salute, and renditions of the national anthems of India and the UAE.
“It is always gladdening to meet HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. His energy and vision for development are admirable. We discussed the full range of India-UAE ties, including ways to boost cultural and economic ties,” Mr. Modi tweeted.
The Indian Prime Minister was accompanied by a number of senior officials, including Mr. Sunjay Sudhir, Ambassador of India to the UAE, as per the statement.

The official reception ceremony was attended by many prestigious personalities, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Lt.
