Sharjah: The “Your Summer with Us” initiative, organized by the Sharjah Youth under the auspices of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation, has seen over 1400 young talents participate enthusiastically. The initiative aims to create leaders and innovators for a sustainable future.
This exciting event was specifically created for teenagers aged 13 to 18. The event’s captivating theme, “Where Skill Meets Fun,” was carefully crafted to help young participants enhance their talents, discover emerging innovators, and explore various areas such as technology, art, culture, creativity, and sports.
During their summer break, participants enjoyed an engaging and educational experience filled with interactive programs and workshops organized by Sharjah Youth.
A grand total of 257 carefully planned activities, programs, and guided outings were offered, reflecting the visionary principles of Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, as well as Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, the wife of the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation.
The exciting journey came to a close with a grand event held at the Wasit Youth Center. At this event, participants showcased the impressive outcomes of their time in the Skill Lab through an exhibition. Sharjah Youth organized this exhibition as a celebration of their members’ achievements.
It served as evidence of the creative and skilled development that members experienced through various Skill Lab programs, which contributed to enhancing their skills across different areas. All these activities collaborated to comprehensively improve the participants’ skills.
Their common vision emphasized the importance of fostering the potential of young people, creating an environment that nurtures their talents, and strengthening the foundation’s pioneering role in guiding youthful initiatives to equip them with skills for the future.
