Tehran: Following the seizure of an Israeli industrialist’s ship by Iran, the conflict between Israel and Iran has intensified, moving toward open warfare. Iran has announced that it targeted specific locations in Israel with dozens of drones, each capable of carrying 20 kilograms of explosives.
The drone attacks, which began at 2 AM Gulf Standard Time yesterday, have been confirmed by Israel. Iran launched approximately 200 drones and 10 missiles, all of which were intercepted and destroyed by Israeli forces.
With the intensification of the conflict, Israel, Jordan, and Iraq have shut their airspaces. Following the attacks, Israel has also closed its airports. The United States has announced its full support for Israel in defending against these attacks from Iran.
The closure of airspaces is only temporary. Official sources from the respective countries have stated that the situation will be continuously assessed, and actions will be adjusted based on developments. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has expressed concern about the escalation and has urged both nations to avoid war at all costs.
