Dubai: The #RamadanInDubai campaign concluded, marking the end of a month-long celebration of the Holy Month. Initiated by the Dubai Media Council, under the leadership of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the campaign fostered a grand celebration that united public and private sectors, highlighting the city’s vibrant culture and traditions.
Building on the success of the Ramadan celebrations, the Council announced the launch of the #EidInDubai campaign, aiming to create memorable holiday experiences for both residents and visitors. The upcoming campaign promises a plethora of public celebrations, events, retail promotions, and community initiatives, further cementing Dubai’s reputation as a prime destination for festive experiences.
The #RamadanInDubai campaign showcased the essence of the Holy Month through over 6,000 events, including community iftars, fireworks, and cultural shows, which demonstrated the city’s rich traditions and modern flair. The effort was a collaborative success, thanks to strategic partnerships across various sectors, enhancing Dubai’s status as a harmonious and culturally diverse city.
Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, expressed gratitude to all participants and partners for their contribution to the campaign’s success, highlighting its role in enriching Dubai’s social fabric and enhancing its global festive profile. The campaign was coordinated by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, and achieved through the synergy of public and private stakeholders.
Looking ahead, the #EidInDubai campaign is set to celebrate Eid Al Fitr, showcasing Dubai’s vibrant, inclusive, and cosmopolitan spirit. Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, emphasized the continued collaboration with partners to ensure the Eid festivities reflect Dubai’s renowned hospitality, heritage, and spirit.
The campaign also saw significant digital engagement, with the official #RamadanInDubai hashtag reaching 492 million views from content shared across social media platforms. Key contributions came from the Roads and Transport Authority, the Department of Economy and Tourism, and several other stakeholders, demonstrating a community-wide effort to celebrate Dubai’s unique culture and traditions during Ramadan.
