Dubai: The Dubai Police announced a AED 1 million contribution to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign. Launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the initiative aims to establish a global education endowment fund of AED 1 billion.
As a part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), the campaign honors mothers and offers sustainable education support to underprivileged communities.
Lieutenant-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, expressed pride in supporting the campaign, underscoring the UAE’s role in global humanitarian efforts. He emphasized that the campaign aligns with values of honoring parents, kindness, and solidarity, through sustainable projects that empower people worldwide.
The Mothers’ Endowment campaign has exceeded its target, raising AED 1.484 billion in just three weeks. Donations are still welcome through multiple channels, including the campaign’s official website, a toll-free call center (800 9999), bank transfers to Emirates Islamic Bank, SMS for Etisalat by e& users, the DubaiNow app, and the Jood platform.
