Dubai: Dubai International Chamber, one of the three chambers operating under Dubai Chambers, has helped two Dubai-based companies successfully expand internationally so they can provide cutting-edge electric vehicles (EVs) in new markets.
The chamber’s efforts helped ONE MOTO and worldwide Synergy Trading DWC LLC complete a strategic relationship that takes advantage of the growing need for sustainable mobility solutions, especially in the two-wheeled EV market, on a worldwide scale.
The chamber was essential in helping ONE MOTO, a Dubai-based firm that specializes in electric vehicles, and Global Synergy Trading, an emirate-based corporation that deals with international commerce, warehousing, logistics, and after-sales support, form a collaboration. As a consequence of the collaboration, ONE-MOTO Technologies Private Limited was established. This new business will oversee cooperative international activities in the two-wheeled EV industry for the Indian market.
HE Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, emphasized that, “Dubai International Chamber is keen to highlight emerging opportunities in promising overseas markets for companies operating in the emirate. We are committed to nurturing impactful partnerships that export the expertise of Dubai-based businesses to the world. These efforts help to accelerate economic development and further consolidate Dubai’s position as a leading global gateway for opportunities and growth.”
With its representative offices in Latin America, the Dubai International Chamber has already been instrumental in boosting ONE MOTO’s growth and expanding the firm into many markets around the region. In order to facilitate a national sales agreement for the ambitious UAE start-up, the chamber’s international office in Argentina successfully connected ONE MOTO and Santiago Motors in Chile. Under the terms of the agreement, the Chilean automaker will sell ONE MOTO’s electric vehicles throughout its national sales network.
Adam Ridgway, a serial entrepreneur, established ONE MOTO in Dubai to assist in the decarbonization of personal and business mobility. The firm is currently attempting to expand its sales internationally after establishing a presence in the UK, Bahrain, Jordan, Sri Lanka, Chile, Iraq, Nepal, and Ethiopia.
