Dubai: The second edition of the Infrastructure NOC (No-Objection Certificate) Technical Manual was released by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) as a resource for developers, contractors, and consultants that hold accreditation from DEWA. This is a component of DEWA’s initiatives to encourage trade within the Emirate. The procurement of water and electricity services by the highest international standards and practices for efficiency, quality, and dependability is made easier and faster with the aid of this manual.
DEWA has introduced 17 new project types to the Manual in this version, for a total of 67 projects. It also contains an update to the technical requirements and protective details for new electricity assets, as well as the specific standards for water assets.
