Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society, has welcomed a delegation from the Omani Equestrian and Racing Federation.
The Omani delegation included Ms. Sayyidah Dhabia bint Sami Al Busaidi, Chair of the Arabian Horse and International Organizations Committee, Mr. Sayyid Saud bin Harib bin Thuwaini Al Said, Vice Chairman of the Committee, and Mr. Ahmed bin Abdul Wahid Al Harasi.
The visit aims to enhance collaboration in registering and documenting Arabian horses, arranging beauty contests for these horses, and providing training courses for officials.
The participants received a briefing on the UAE’s pioneering experience in the field of Arabian horse care. This involved providing the best services to owners, breeders, and exhibitors to the highest standards of quality.
Additionally, they highlighted the organization of various events and competitions both locally and internationally in this domain. All of these efforts were carried out under the guidance and support of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The meeting extensively reviewed the areas of joint cooperation and exchange of expertise. This included the registration and documentation of Arabian horses, the electronic pedigree program, the Arabian horse registration and documentation system, as well as the working mechanism and the birth registration program.
The meeting also touched on joint cooperation in educational courses, national judges’ courses, disciplinary committee courses, and exhibitors, as per the statement.
