Sharjah: Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah has inaugurated the first phase of the Al Saf residential complex in the city of Kalba.
The Ruler has affirmed that providing adequate and safe housing for the Emirati family is a major part of his project, supporting their needs to live a stable life. The complex includes 151 homes at a total cost of $33 million on an area of 417,000 square meters, with various services and facilities.
Sheikh Al Qasimi has emphasized the ongoing development of each area in Kalba based on its specific needs, whether it’s replacing housing, buildings, or infrastructure to ensure overall progress.

The complex contains residences of various designs, as it provides three models: Islamic, local, and modern design, as per the statement.
Each home has five rooms and spans 322 square meters. The initial phase of construction lasted 18 months, and the second phase is set to be completed by the end of February 2024.
Many prominent personalities from Sharjah were present at the ceremony.

The project also features a public park for complex residents, along with various other amenities. Additionally, road construction and essential services like electricity, gas, and sewage are nearing completion.
The Ruler planted an almond tree in the central Al Saf Park of the complex. This park will serve as a recreational space for all members of the complex’s families, including men, women, and children.
