Sharjah: The Municipality of Sharjah City (SM) has unveiled a number of innovative projects and initiatives in honor of UAE Innovation Month.
These initiatives support the Emirate of Sharjah’s goals and are in line with the digital transformation plan. They also make use of artificial intelligence to improve community services.
Dr. Sulaiman Abdallah bin Sarhan Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Municipal Affairs Department, and Obaid Saeed Al Tenaiji, Director-General of the Municipality, were among those present at the celebration, which was held at the municipality’s main building in the Musalla neighborhood.

The Sharjah Municipality launched the “Smart Path” project as one of its innovative endeavors, according to Reem Abdullah Al Rossi, Director of the Human Resources Department and Head of the Innovation Team. This cutting-edge program aids in the planning and automation of inspection procedures in public parking management and keeps tabs on how department users are using inspection vehicles.
The municipality also unveiled the Global Inspection Device, a cutting-edge tool designed to satisfy the Central Laboratories Management’s inspection requirements.
The Smart Lens system, a cutting-edge invention created by specialists at Sharjah City Municipality, is another noteworthy invention. This technology makes use of an advanced optical language model to allow residents to easily report audio and video observations and concerns to the municipality through the WhatsApp application.
In addition, the municipality has taken the lead in programs designed to develop young people’s and schoolchildren’s talents. Innovative Farmer, Innovative Inspector, and Innovative Engineer are just a few of the programs designed to help students grow as individuals, expand their horizons, and become familiar with the roles that the Sharjah City Municipality plays.
