Abu Dhabi: The 7th Mother of the Nation (MOTN) Festival is set to take place across three new locations in Abu Dhabi in 2023.
The 2023 Festival will open its doors for the first time in Al Dhafra Region from November 22 to 26 and in Al Ain from November 29 until December 3. Later on, visitors will also be invited to experience the festival at the Abu Dhabi Corniche from December 8 to 31.
The seventh edition of the festival, organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), will host soon-to-be-announced international acts and artists, carnival rides, art installations, curated retail experiences, and culinary offerings from around the globe.
This year’s theme, inspired by America’s baby-booming 1950s and swinging 1960s, will offer feelings of nostalgia while transporting visitors to a retro-futuristic reality.
The 7th MOTN Festival will also feature a mix of local and global retail concepts, as well as a wide range of food and beverage options. The event will be home to an array of activities, including amusement park rides, hands-on creative workshops, and interactive experiences, including collaborative physical and augmented reality games.
In addition, visitors can also expect escape rooms, arcade games, basketball showdowns, a Jeep track, a skatepark, a roller rink, and skill-based activities. Furthermore, the four themed areas, which are Amuse, Thrill, Indulge, and Entertain, will cater to visitors of all ages.
