Dubai: The International Free Zone Authority (IFZA) has partnered with the Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft e.V (BVMW), the German Federal Association of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses. The partnership aims to strengthen bilateral business ties between the UAE and Germany.
IFZA will create an office in Dubai as the official agent of BVMW in order to assist the increasing number of German companies setting up shop in the city.
This partnership is a vital component of IFZA’s plan to assist the Dubai Government’s D33 project by attracting foreign companies to Dubai to foster economic expansion. Through this collaboration, IFZA has established itself as the go-to choice for German companies wishing to grow and internationalize in the United Arab Emirates. It also concentrates on opening doors for small and medium-sized firms (SMEs) operating in both Germany and the United Arab Emirates.
“IFZA has an impressive track-record of successfully serving the German business community, and we are thrilled to be part of BVMW’s alliance here in Dubai. Our strategic partnership with BVMW is a key component in IFZA becoming the solution for German businesses looking to expand to Dubai and beyond. We offer comprehensive solutions for German SMEs looking to grow their business in Dubai and believe our partnership with BVMW speaks loudly to Dubai’s position as the region’s thriving business and investment hub. We are delighted to be able to support even more German SMEs to pursue their business growth ambitions from Dubai to the world,” said Jochen Knecht, CEO at IFZA.
Due to the strong trade between the two nations, Germany has always been a crucial market for IFZA, home to at least 1,200 German businesses and more than 30,000 German nationals living in the UAE. IFZA has taken decisive action to pursue new business categories in the nation, realizing the importance of fostering this partnership. EMAG is just one of several German companies seeking to IFZA for support when setting up a shop in Dubai.
