Dubai: The Government of Dubai will soon introduce DubaiPay’s payment services on Al Ansari Exchange Mobile App after the Department of Finance (DOF) and Dubai Smart Government Establishment (DSG) recently finalized a deal with Al Ansari Exchange.
H.E. Wesam Al Abbas Lootah, CEO of DSG, Mr. Jamal Hamed Al Marri, Executive Director of Central Accounts at DOF, and Mr. Rashed A. Al Ansari, CEO of Al Ansari Exchange formalized the partnership by signing the deal at Digital Dubai HQ.
With the agreement in place, Al Ansari Exchange will become one of the service providers of DubaiPay. The collaboration will make Al Ansari Exchange one of the 1st private companies and the first exchange company to be linked to the app.
With this development, Al Ansari Exchange’s customers can now use DubaiPay as an alternative payment option available on their mobile app.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Jamal Al Marri welcomed Al Ansari Exchange’s addition into the “DubaiPay” ecosystem. The DOF Official highlighted the importance of providing the private sector the opportunity to benefit from Dubai’s advanced financial and digital infrastructure. This collaboration offers more flexibility and convenience to customers to perform their financial transactions.
Meanwhile, His Excellency Wesam Lootah, CEO of the Smart Dubai Government Establishment, observed that, “Digital Dubai is committed to embracing advanced technologies and channeling them towards making people’s lives easier and happier in Dubai, firmly establishing the emirate as the world’s leading smart city. To that end, DubaiPay allows users to seamlessly pay bills and purchase online services from one centralized, secure, and easy-to-use application.”

The Smart Dubai Government Establishment CEO elaborated that, “With that commitment in mind, we are delighted to be welcoming a private-sector company onto the platform for the first time. By connecting Al Ansari’s payment system to the DubaiPay gateway, we can offer users a wider range of secure online payment services, accessible any time and from anywhere.”
For his part, Mr. Rashed A. Al Ansari, CEO of Al Ansari Exchange stated that, “We are honored and proud to enter this partnership with DOF and Digital Dubai, and be the first exchange company to link our smart application to the government digital system “Dubai Pay”.
