Taking place at the Expo Centre Sharjah and with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the event will continue until October 1, 2023.
The showcased collections at the pavilion are a blend of traditional local heritage and modern design, impressing the event’s attendees. They contain a range of jewelry crafted from gold, diamonds, pearls, and other valuable metals and gemstones.
Every piece, distinguished by its design and color, carries the essence of traditional craftsmanship handed down through generations, earning admiration from everyone at the exhibition.
Mr. Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the SCCI and Expo Centre Sharjah, stated that, “we are committed to empowering Emirati entrepreneurs to hone their craft and marketing skills and sustain their businesses in an environment conducive to continual creativity and development.”
The Chairman also emphasized that the chamber, through the “Emirates Jewellers” pavilion, aims to support and mentor young entrepreneurs and SME owners, helping them succeed in their endeavors.
Ms. Mona Sultan Al Suwaidi, Director of the SCCI Chairman’s Executive Office, mentioned that the “Emirates Jewellers” pavilion hosted several workshops. These workshops had a special focus on integrating nature-inspired elements from the desert and marine environments into jewelry design.
Moreover, the platform actively advocates for sustainability in the gold industry by utilizing natural resources such as date kernels for ornamentation, shells, and similar materials, Ms. Al Suwaidi added.
