Abu Dhabi: Burjeel Holdings has partnered with US-based Northwell Health to launch a highly advanced Neuroscience Institute in Abu Dhabi. The institute will be housed within Burjeel Medical City (BMC), the flagship facility of Burjeel Holdings, and will offer state-of-the-art care for both adult and pediatric patients with various neurological disorders.
The collaboration between Burjeel Holdings and Northwell Health aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. Dr. Souhel Najjar, a renowned neurologist and the Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Neurology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, will lead the Institute in Abu Dhabi.
As the Executive Director and Senior Vice President of the Northwell Health Neurology Service Line, Dr. Najjar brings a wealth of experience to the institute. The establishment of the ‘Dr. Najjar Neuroscience Institute’ was formalized during a ceremony at Northwell Health’s corporate headquarters in Manhattan, New York.
