Abu Dhabi: Zayed Higher Organization (ZHO) and the Cambridge Centre for Medicine and Rehabilitation (CMRC) have signed a contract to improve the services provided at the facility devoted to the long-term care of People of Determination.
ZHO Secretary-General Abdullah Al-Humaidan and CMRC Group Chief Executive Dr. Howard Podolsky signed the agreement. Attending the signing ceremony were several leaders from both sides, and it was held at the company’s headquarters.
A wide range of specialized services, including nursing, applied behavior analysis, pharmacy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, registered dietitian, and dental services catered to the needs of People of Determination, will be provided by CMRC at the Host Center by the terms of the contract.
Al-Humaidan emphasized ZHO’s dedication to providing the highest caliber of care and rehabilitation in each of its facilities, to cultivate an atmosphere that supports social, cultural, vocational, and educational empowerment by each person’s capabilities and goals.
Giving CMRC control of the Host Center demonstrates the organization’s dedication to maintaining the best possible care, oversight, and integration for its residents, improving their general wellbeing and social integration.
The Host Centre was founded in 2013 and is situated in the Mafraq neighborhood of Abu Dhabi. It provides long-term housing, round-the-clock assistance, and a wide range of nursing, medical, therapeutic, and rehabilitation services.
The facility, which is supported by the Health Authority—Abu Dhabi, has 80 beds and provides high-quality nursing care around-the-clock to adults and adolescents with complicated medical and mental problems.
For People of Determination, including individuals with severe physical impairments and significant psychiatric illnesses, the center offers top-notch treatment. It provides long-term care for hospitalized patients as well as rehabilitation services for kids, teens, adults, and senior citizens in need of varying degrees of mental and physical support.
