Abu Dhabi: King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan have talked on a phone call. To promote mutual progress and advance development and prosperity, the two leaders spoke about their strong relations and several areas of cooperation and collaboration between the UAE and Jordan during the conversation.
The UAE president asked King Abdullah II about the state of affairs in Jordan. He prayed for God to keep Jordan and its people safe and secure and for ongoing blessings of security, safety, and stability. He reaffirmed the UAE’s dedication to helping the Kingdom preserve its stability and security.
King Abdullah II wished the United Arab Emirates further success and conveyed his gratitude for the President’s warm words about Jordan and its people.
The President and the King discussed several regional and global issues of mutual concern during the discussion, namely the Middle East situation and the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip. They emphasized the necessity of stepping up efforts to forge a truce and supporting programs aimed at improving the deteriorating circumstances facing Gaza and its citizens.
In order to stop the violence in the region from getting worse, all parties emphasized the necessity of strong international intervention. They also emphasized how crucial it is to forge a distinct political route based on the two-state solution to bring about a fair and complete peace that would contribute to everyone’s stability and security.
