Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the Arab Youth Center, asserted the role of youth in shaping the future and leading development paths during his visit to the Arab Youth Center (AYC) in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Theyab met with the members of the AYC and approved the Center’s plan for 2023 and strategy for the next five years, focused on empowering Arab youth in their nations.
The President emphasized the Arab Youth Center’s ongoing dedication to enabling Arab youth to influence social change and actively contribute to advancement based on their capacities and talents, while utilizing the empowering ecosystem to bring their innovative ideas to reality.
The Arab Young Center’s strategy for 2023 will focus on fostering Arabic identity and language, developing personalities, consolidating citizenship values, and enhancing capacities and skills, which will advance the Arab region’s youth sector.
Sheikh Theyab complimented the efforts of the Arab Youth Center staff to share the UAE model of youth empowerment with everyone and consistently work to develop the skills of Arab youth, which has a beneficial impact on the development and prosperity of Arab societies.
The Arab Youth Center strategy is founded on key enablers, statistics, and research, as well as the opinions of young people who will be involved in planning projects, providing solutions, and sharing outcomes with all stakeholders in empowering Arab youth in the public and private sectors.
