Sharjah: The Sharjah Press Club, under the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, has announced the schedule for the 13th Sharjah Ramadan Majlis. The event, patronized by H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, is set to take place from March 18 to 21 at the Al Majaz Amphitheatre. This year’s edition will feature sessions on religion, sports, art, and entrepreneurship, led by distinguished speakers and experts.
Sports Session: Football Talent Development
The sports-focused session will kick off the Majlis on March 18, with international football star Luka Modric leading the discussion on “Football Skills: Establishment and Development”. The session, moderated by journalist Ahmed Sultan, aims to explore the development of local football talent, the maintenance of professional levels, and the nurturing of future generations to meet modern football’s demands.
Religious Session: Emphasizing Good Morals
On March 19, Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Duwaini from Cairo’s Al-Azhar Al-Sharif will deliver a lecture titled “Religious Transaction”. The session will highlight the importance of good morals and the teachings of Islam, as emphasized by the Prophet Muhammad, to foster honesty and moral conduct among individuals.
Entrepreneurship Session: Fostering Business Growth
Scheduled for March 20, this session will feature discussions on Sharjah’s investment environment and support for entrepreneurship. Speakers include Mohammed Juma Al Musharrakh of the Sharjah Foreign Direct Investment Office, Fadi Ghandour, and Emirati entrepreneur Nawal Al Nuaimi. Moderated by Dr. Abdussalam Al Hammadi, the panel will explore success factors in entrepreneurship, innovative ideas, and economic project models.
Arts Session: The Influence of Cinema
Concluding the Majlis on March 21, the session “Art and Life… How cinema affects people’s lives” will delve into the impact of drama and cinema. Actors Ahmed Al Sakka and Kosai Khauli, along with moderator Reem Seif, will discuss cinema’s role in shaping society’s values and beliefs, including the concept of cinema therapy.
The 13th edition of the Sharjah Ramadan Majlis promises a blend of engaging discussions, interactive activities, and contests, continuing its tradition of hosting prominent figures to tackle vital societal issues and trends.
