Qatar: Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdurrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, has met with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The top diplomat from the UAE arrived in Doha, the capital of Qatar, on a business visit. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdurrahman bin Jassim Al Thani received him at the airport.
The two ministers spoke about the friendly ties that exist between the State of Qatar and the UAE as well as strategies to expand the potential for bilateral cooperation in all areas in a way that would support both nations’ development paths and guarantee the prosperity and advancement of their people.
Talks focused on the remarkable development successes in every area in both countries, as these developments are a strong impetus for the two friendly countries’ continued attempts to provide sustained prosperity for their people.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the close brotherly ties that exist between the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, as well as the two nations’ desire to work together more closely in order to advance their shared interests and development objectives.
The most recent events in the Middle East, particularly in the Gaza Strip, were also discussed by the two Ministers.
In light of the growing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip and the pressing need to step up regional and international efforts to give the brotherly Palestinian people enough humanitarian aid in a way that would lessen their suffering, they reviewed the efforts made to achieve a sustainable ceasefire.
