Dubai: The establishment of the Hellenic Business Council has been announced by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers that function under the Dubai Chambers umbrella. The unveiling depicts a significant advancement in the development of Dubai and Greece’s commercial ties.
In order to promote bilateral trade and business, establish cooperation opportunities, and strengthen links between the business groups in both markets, the Hellenic Business Council will be essential. The council fosters collaboration and establishes networking possibilities for businesses in Dubai and Greece by providing an efficient forum for the exchange of pertinent market knowledge and other useful information.
The council convened its inaugural annual general meeting in Dubai Chambers recently, with Antonios Alexandroides, the Hellenic Republic’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, in attendance. Participants talked about the council’s planned activities calendar, prospective collaborations and alliances with Dubai Chambers, and strategies to grow the membership.
HE Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, remarked that, “Dubai enjoys a dynamic and growing trade and investment relationship with Greece. Through the establishment of the Hellenic Business Council, we aim to build a sustainable and effective partnership that supports mutual opportunities for future growth across diverse sectors.
“This initiative comes as part of our continued efforts to increase the number of Business Councils, strengthen their role in building opportunities and developing cross-border partnerships, and expand trade and investment relations between Dubai and key global markets,” HE Rashed Lootah added.
Covering markets of strategic importance to Dubai, Business Councils serve as valuable platforms for companies in the UAE and international markets to connect, collaborate, and build mutually beneficial partnerships, opening new channels for economic cooperation between business communities across the globe.
Dubai Chamber of Commerce is currently working to expand the number of Business Councils representing the diverse nationalities of investors in the emirate to consolidate efforts to support members in international markets, unify the voices of Business Councils, and achieve their shared objectives.
