Dubai: UAE-based premier airline, Emirates has once again raised the benchmarks for hospitality by introducing a new Home Check-in Service for First Class Flyers which offers customers the option to check in from home in a comfortable and convenient manner.
The service is currently available free-of-cost to First Class customers of Emirates who are based in Dubai and Sharjah.
As part of the service, the Emirates’ Check-in Agents will visit First Class customers at their homes or hotels at pre-booked time slots to complete all check-in formalities, including document verification, checking-in of baggage, and issuing boarding passes.
Emirates has also arranged a counter on the Airport for any last-minute extra luggage.
While Check-in Agents will carry the luggage directly to the airport, customers can choose to travel to the Airport at their convenience by opting for the pre-booked Emirates complimentary chauffeur-drive service.
24 HOUR WINDOW
The service is expected to be booked at least 24 hours before the flight’s departure time. The latest Home Check-in Service would have to be 6 hours prior to the flight’s departure.
Emirates’ Home Check-in Service enables flyers to directly proceed to immigration and security, and then continue to Emirates’ dedicated First Class Lounge. It is to be noted that customers are expected to arrive at the Airport at least 90 minutes before the flight departs.
All Emirates customers can experience a smooth and contactless experience at the airport by using the Emirates App to check-in and issue a mobile boarding pass and using the Emirates’ self-service bag drop.
Registered customers can continue hands-free through the airport by using the integrated biometrics tunnel and smart gates at DXB.
