Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM) has hosted the Golden Helmet Award Ceremony to honor the winners of the third session of awards from businesses engaged in the building and construction industry, including consultants and contractors operating within the municipality’s boundaries, through the City Planning Sector – Environment, Health, and Safety Department.
The firms that satisfied the required requirements and won the prize categories were honored during the ceremony, which was attended by ADM Director-General Saif Badr Al Qubaisi.
The award is a competition contest in EHS, which is organized managed & supervised by Abu Dhabi City Municipality represented by the Environment Health & Safety Division (EHSD) The targeted segments for this award are Companies (Contractors & Consultants) of the Building & Construction Sector within the jurisdiction of Abu Dhabi.
By encouraging competition amongst participants, the Golden Helmet Award hopes to advance health and safety procedures in the construction industry.
To lower workplace occurrences, injuries, and property losses, it also aims to improve collaborations with the private sector and advance environmental, health, and safety (EHS) awareness and education.
It also motivates construction firms to put dedication, originality, and ingenuity first in order to achieve the highest standards of compliance with EHS rules and regulations, guaranteeing a secure and comfortable working environment for all.
The award serves as a testament to ADM’s unwavering commitment to leading the implementation of best practices in occupational health and safety within the construction sector.
