The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) marked the Day, reflecting on its achievements last year, as per the statement.
In the 2022 Year in Review report, MBRGI, the largest foundation in the region for charity, humanitarian, and aid work, spent $5.19 billion. This had a positive impact on the lives of 102 million people in 100 different countries worldwide.
These numbers show an increase of 11 million beneficiaries compared to 2021, and the foundation expanded its reach to cover 100 countries, which is three more than in the previous year.
This underscores its prominent position as the largest regional network for humanitarian, aid, and development initiatives.
Every year on August 19th, the global community unites to pay tribute to humanitarians worldwide. These dedicated individuals work tirelessly to address the increasing global challenges.
Regardless of the risks and difficulties they face, they bravely enter disaster-stricken areas and conflict zones, working tirelessly to save and safeguard those who require assistance.
