Dubai: The Ministry of Community Development has partnered with Al Habtoor Group through its Founder and Chairman, Mr. Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, to support young Emirati spouses who are preparing to marry in mass wedding.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which was signed by Ms. Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development and Mr. Al Habtoor, is part of a strategic partnership and social responsibility concept, to support the vision and objectives of the Ministry of Community Development (MoCD) and the Al Habtoor Group’s endeavor to build and establish cohesive Emirati families, achieve family stability and community cohesion, motivate young people who are about to get married and enable them to build a happy and stable married and family life.
The deal comes at a time when preparations are being made towards the 1st Mass Wedding for 100 young future spouses in the Emirate of Dubai which is organized by Al Habtoor Group in collaboration with the MoCD on 13th November 2022.
The MoCD, in cooperation with the Al Habtoor Group, seeks to support and motivate young Emirati citizens who are about to marry to participate in mass wedding, to consolidate the importance of their role in promoting family stability and rooted values in the inherited Emirati customs and traditions.
The partnership is expected to improve the participation of the private sector and the support of businessmen in the UAE for such social programs and initiatives organized by the Ministry to achieve stability and cohesion among Emirati families.
The MoU has identified areas of cooperation on supporting Young Emirati future spouses where Al Habtoor Group will provide support to young Emirati men and women who are about to get married, through in-kind gifts to these couples, organize mass weddings with all its requirements in addition to gifts and offers from the group to the spouses to be.
