Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs, has officially opened the first Abu Dhabi Mobility Week.
Abu Dhabi Mobility Week, which runs until May 1, 2024, is organized by the Department of Municipalities and Transport under the patronage of Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Its goal is to influence how the emirate will be transported in the future.
Key figures in the transportation industry, including ministers, CEOs from large enterprises, government agencies, academic institutions, international regulatory bodies, and startup businesses, attended a special gala event. In addition, a number of the event’s major sponsors, including the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, Abu Dhabi Airports, Bayanat, Abu Dhabi Transport Company, AD Ports Group, and ADQ Aviation and Aerospace Service, were present.
Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan took a tour of DRIFTx, a premier smart and autonomous transportation event that brings together visionaries and innovators to present the newest advancements and solutions in the sector, as part of the evening’s schedule. The event is scheduled on April 25 and 26, 2024, as part of ADMW.
Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League (A2RL) on April 27, 2024, Abu Dhabi Canvas Community Tour on April 28, 2024, and Mobility Live ME on April 29 and May 1, 2024, are just a few of the events that Abu Dhabi Mobility Week will be hosting. These and other events are expected to set the standard for mobility events in the city for years to come.
