Dubai: Leading integrated global energy company ENOC Group has launched a range of community initiatives aimed at helping more than 600,000 individuals in the UAE over Ramadan 2024.
The Group carefully plans its yearly humanitarian projects in partnership with ZOOM and regional charitable organizations to develop a strong sense of camaraderie and compassion among its staff members and the communities it serves.
Every year, the ENOC Group organizes several events during the Holy Month. These events include the packing and delivery of groceries and the distribution of iftar boxes to more than 500,000 recipients in association with Al Ihsan Charity Association as part of their Annual Ramadan Aman Campaign.
In addition, the Group will provide 25,000 food items to impoverished families and 10,000 iftar meals to labor camps. At several places around the United Arab Emirates, committed volunteers from ENOC Group will carry out the distribution operations. The Group will also organize an annual iftar program for elderly Emirati citizens for the second year in a row.
This year will see the return of the yearly “Malabes” program in collaboration with Beit Al Khair, which aims to inspire Group workers to donate new and gently used items in support of impoverished families. Together with Beit Al Khair, the Group will provide 1000 gas cylinders from Emirates Gas to impoverished households as part of a coordinated initiative.
In addition, the public is invited to donate at any ENOC service station for Iftar Saa’em (AED15), Zakat Al Fitr (AED25), and Kiswat Eid (AED100) as part of ENOC’s partnership with Beit Al Khair. This year’s charity campaign will also provide social media users a QR code to help with donations. Throughout the month of Ramadan, the code will also be printed on every coffee cup at Zoom.
The Group has partnered with Al Noor Rehabilitation and Welfare Association for People of Determination in accordance with ENOC’s CSR strategy, which is centered on advancing inclusion and empowering people of determination. Through this program, ENOC staff members can participate in a “Misbaha,” or prayer bead, crafting workshop. The carefully made goods will be donated in the food box together with other supplies.
