Dubai: Dubai Taxi Company PJSC (DTC) has prepared to deliver safe, reliable, and smart mobility services at COP28 to ensure an exceptional experience for delegates, participants, and visitors.
The UN Climate Change Conference 2023 will be taking place at Expo City Dubai from November 30 to December 12, 2023. DTC will also provide a fully integrated system of advanced technological solutions within its fleet of luxury vehicles, including limousines, electric vehicles, hybrids, and buses, in accordance with the highest quality and safety standards, both locally and internationally.
The company started proactive mock drills in October of last year and held daily meetings to finalize its action plan. More than 350 limousine drivers and a huge team of employees will be taking part in running DTC’s fleet.
In addition, DTC has certified and trained its drivers to drive an electric vehicle fleet in partnership with Al Futtaim Company in advance of COP28, guaranteeing first-rate transportation for distinguished guests. DTC is also set to monitor vehicle arrivals and track their daily routes via control center systems.
Using more than 170 buses, DTC’s Fleet Operations Department will arrange daily transportation for more than 7,000 students from Dubai and Ajman, which will be significant to the conference. The visits, which are arranged in collaboration with the Emirates Schools Establishment and different private schools, will give students the opportunity to engage in the event.
