Dubai: Alma Health, a digital healthcare provider in the UAE, has launched an on-ground activation in Hatta at Emirates Heritage Coop to provide free basic healthcare screenings as part of Eid Al-Fitr. The initiative is a reflection of the company’s persistent commitment to enhance the accessibility of healthcare services to all residents of the UAE, with a special emphasis on those residing in remote regions.
The screening includes blood pressure, blood sugar, and BMI tests, as well as complimentary vitamins and a session on how to use the Alma Health application.

Alma Health provides virtual medical consultations for individuals living with chronic conditions through its application, with licenced in-house general practitioners, specialists, and internists.
In addition, Lab tests can also be done at home, and users can receive prescriptions on a renewal basis, fully covered by their health insurance, without needing to visit a clinic or hospital. Their prescription medication can also be delivered to them on the same day with no additional cost.
The healthcare provider has already had a significant impact in the UAE, having completed over 30,000 consultations through its digital clinic and fulfilling 50,000 orders through its cloud pharmacies.

The free healthcare screening is available until the end of April 2023 at Emirates Heritage Coop in Hatta, and no prior appointments are necessary. Anyone can take advantage of this opportunity to receive a basic health check-up, vitamins, and learn more about the Alma Health application.
The initiative demonstrates Alma Health’s commitment to improving the accessibility and quality of healthcare for everyone in the UAE, particularly those in remote areas.
