Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), with the help of business intelligence procedures, has released a new version of its application that offers users an advanced and integrated platform to conveniently access their judicial files and stay informed about all court and prosecution unit developments within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The release of the updated app is by President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s vision and the directives of Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the ADJD, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This was noted by Counselor Yousef Saeed Alabri, Undersecretary of the ADJD.
In keeping with the goals and priorities of its Strategic Plan, as well as those of its programs and initiatives centered on technical development and smart services, the Judicial Department has achieved significant progress in putting the demands of digital transformation into practice.
Users may monitor case files and their status in courts and public prosecution units, examine case information, and submit documents using the updated app, which is connected to the UAE Pass (digital ID).
Additionally, it facilitates the filing of applications, the payment of penalties and amounts owed in court cases using a variety of digital payment options, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, the updating of the international bank account number (IBAN) for court cases, keeping track of hearing dates, and remote attendance. granting access to notary public services, authenticating transactions, digital marriage contracts, and case and criminal file status query services.
In order to guide customers on the necessary next steps, a new notification feature has also been implemented to notify litigants of the judgments rendered in their cases, the required procedures, and alerts regarding developments in their judicial files, court hearings, and submitted applications.
